New Weapons?

Anyone know if the devs are adding any new weapons? I checked their patch notes and it seems they are considering shotguns but other than that I haven't seen too much. Does anyone know anything else?

Yes next update will be gun rework, if you look on the scopophobia patch logs you'll see them talking about wanting to change logicer in "the next update". Honestly it'd be cool if we could get something like a high damage revolver or a deagle. Hopefully we also get more grenades like smoke grenades

I really dont like scp going down the FPS path. Its a multiplayer game where you run from stuff and die. Not an FPS

But thats exactly what it is, an FPS. If it were run away and die then there wouldn't be any guns

Well yeah it is first person and a shooter but i just dont like everyone going on it with the intent that its gonna be like valorant or CS:GO

Not exactly, there can be 1000 ♥♥♥♥ guns that work the same or 4 new ones that are actually unique and spice up the game alot more

Shot guns seem so wired to me as sl has only had rifles, machine guns, and pistols. Shot guns i can see getting a nerf cause they could be over powered but thats just me.

Half-Life 1 gun feeling guns with leaning and great SCPs would make for an amazing game. Honestly more games should do more HL feeling for guns. I agree 100%

It be cool if they could also do more sci-fi like guns aswell, it is the SCP foundation after all. The site does have stuff like the Micro and the GLaDoS but worse super computer CASSIE, so why are sci fi guns out of the picture?
