In all honesty that’s the problem, because a single D-Class escaping makes it impossible for MTF and SCP’s to win they have to be easily killed off for balancing reasons. Wish a D-Class escape didn’t force a stalemate or D-Class victory. In that case they could be slightly buffed and wouldn’t be a priority target for SCP’s.
Well, you die if you stay for too long in LCZ, but you either get into heavy fast or just hide somewhere until it's 5 minutes to decontamination, or even longer If a SCP is still in LCZ.
That I think is the problem. There's no in-between. Either you're lucky and able to get out within a minute, or you have to hide in a corner and pray the SCPs aren't interested in your hiding spot.
The best tactic is just to wait cuz:
Go fast and get to heavy before SCPs get to lcz: really luck based, takes a bit of skill
Juke everything out: a lot luck and skill
Just wait: a bit luck needed and literally no skill
Although in 2 last tactics if you survive there's a huge chance you gonna get executed by MTF
devs making the game worse and worse with each bloody day
but its a very good thing that they've been adding lately so
-invincible and op scps
-♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and needless armour, penetration, and shield mechanics
-competitive recoil/gunplay
-gross graphics (game looks meh, but not allowing to make the game very bright, makes it look even uglier)
all really make the game a lot more fun and just add to the gameplay a whole lot. Yeah, totally.
victories are purely cosmetic
2. for you it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, for many people it's a cool feature. Now you don't have to give MTF commanders more HP cuz they would have better armour than guards
3. They are trying to make the game less random and more skill bassed, and honestly it's better losing because the opponent can control the recoil better than you, Instead of dying cuz you got ♥♥♥♥ RNG.
4. It's just prefference, for me it looks better. They limited the brightness so it doesn't give that much adventage, and keeps the climate.
In my opinion more gameplay mechanics means more fun, and makes the game less boring
b. armor is a weird mechanic to add and i have no opinion of it
c. people don't like that this game is going in a more competitive direction because this game is essentially vrchat in the scp universe, and this update makes everything frustratingly competitive
d. the graphics look like seus shaders in minecraft, while seus looks good it still says something
Indeed. No human can juke forever. Eventually you get tired and you need an escape. Right now the only way to really survive the initial LCZ invasion is to simply hide in place. If I hadn't hid in a checkpoint corner this one round last night, I would've joined the dozens of corpses in 914.
Personally I like the addition of armour. Unfortunately, there's really no other better armour than combat armour. Light armour is temporary, combat armour is eternal, while heavy armour is downright useless. On civilian classes your mobility is heavily impacted, and even military classes have to deal with how slow it is. I would've escaped this one 939 as a captain if it weren't for that ♥♥♥♥♥♥ heavy armour. Always drop it when there's combat armour, no matter how much ammo it gives you.
A personal opinion of mine, but I like the new gunplay, and especially the animations. I just wish there were more chill servers out there just to ♥♥♥♥ around in.
The graphics are better, but I find it too dark. Even when you bring the lightness all the way up, you'll still likely find yourself turning up your monitor's volume just to try to see the guy across the hallway. At least flashlights are useful now, and more accessible.
The flash radius and effects got buffed, and I honestly love it, it finally blinds SCPs too for quite a time
