Apart from others i accept your opinion and im goin to improve it
All of the current animations in this game are pretty bad, actually.
I see this is for 049, but my point definitely still stands about it being too elastic and unnatural.
I would suggest maybe having the left hand sort of lowered, or entirely out of the view. Then having the right hand extended out almost like a claw or a grasp. Imagine the Plague Doctor (049) from SCP Containment Breach. When he extends his right hand it's in a sort of reached out grasping like motion.
Then, when idle (not attacking), have the right hand sort of clutched, sort of like preparing to reach out. Very difficult to explain with just words, would recommend acting out the animation with your hands, and doing some rough drafts until you find what works.
