Animation for First Person View
While playing SCP:SL i always see that whenever i'm playing it , i just got a empty screen without any hands / movements

So i wanted to work on like unofficial FP Animations for the game
Here is the first one i come up with 049

Keep in mind its V1 and still getting improved!

I would like to offer some help about the Animations in the game if i would be allowed to post this here

The hands are so rubbery, and just do not behave realistically. I would suggest decreasing the time for the hands to "draw", and make it more smooth. The fingers jiggle around and is all around not very eye candy. I look forward to seeing an improved version.

Everything after the first second is not needed. Remember, it's a draw animation. Otherwise, it's pretty decent.

Holy ♥♥♥♥ that draw animation is a mess. Why would the zombie even have a draw animation? It's the only weapon they use.

They're supposed to last less than a second by the way, with no retarded jumping. Look at Team Fortress 2's draw animations for something that's great.
oh calm the hell down, the dude just showed some cool animations that could be used
And I have the right to criticize him, nobody can or will stop me.

It's harsh criticism for someone who's very obviously new to animation and the concepts within animation. People often tiptoe around their criticism, saying "Oh no, it's okay.." no, it isn't. That first animation was ♥♥♥♥ and the second one was too long.

Good, the second one feels very similar to an old HL1 mod I played a while ago and it's way better than the current animation.

All of the current animations in this game are pretty bad, actually.

I would recommend taking a look at Zombie Panic Source, or another Source based game or mod for some references on the hands for the zombies. I think they are well animated enough to not be too much and not too little while pretty much nailing what you would expect for a "zombie" hand animation. I think the hand twirl you have in place is totally unnecessary and weird, just doesn't look natural or satisfying. Just looks too rubbery and elastic.
I see this is for 049, but my point definitely still stands about it being too elastic and unnatural.

I would suggest maybe having the left hand sort of lowered, or entirely out of the view. Then having the right hand extended out almost like a claw or a grasp. Imagine the Plague Doctor (049) from SCP Containment Breach. When he extends his right hand it's in a sort of reached out grasping like motion.

Then, when idle (not attacking), have the right hand sort of clutched, sort of like preparing to reach out. Very difficult to explain with just words, would recommend acting out the animation with your hands, and doing some rough drafts until you find what works.
