He's generally the shame shape as one. Doesn't help that he has a rough wooden texture that does look similar to a peanut's texture.

the original post on the scp wiki on where every scp article can be found (scp 173's post originally came from a 4chan post and then into the wiki) had scp 173's picture from a Japanese sculpture which later on became in all sorts of scp media, mainly serving as one of the main threats in the classic scp game containment breach, which the shape kinda looks like a peanut. a beautiful one at that. Secret lab started off as a containment breach spin-off until slowly growing into one of the biggest scp games. Since the original had been copyrighted, containment breach, the model, the photo on the wiki had been changed (though the model from containment breach is still here) and Northwood had to change our favorite peanut to keep their funding from Patrion or something. So, at the parabellum update scp 173 got reworked and turned from a peanut to a walnut. something like that, I guess.
