#1 Q: When is it public ?

A: It's going to be released as soon as soon as we fix most of the issues. As you can see even in depth presentation that should technically be perfect. We are also experiencing a couple of bugs and we are going to release this version as soon as we get rid of the vast majority of them. We are currently doing the patreon tests, which means currently the game is only available to patreon supporters and we will be lowering the price to keep the bug reports going but currently we are controlling the amount of bug reports by controlling the price. So we don't have too many bug reports and we are also don't have time to idle. It is not totally right that the more bug reports the better because if we have too many bug reports it's kind of hard to confirm which of them are true and which of them are not. It's also hard to contact those people and if we have designated people and our staff and patrons who are trained to how to report bugs this makes everything a little bit more efficient.

Not a question but important : Ava talks about the original release schedule for Scopophobia and wants to explain that (Covid-19)

A : Originally Scopophobia was intended for March. At the time we thought that was going to be feasible and we all had the pieces in place to do it, but as we put it in a steam post and discord the global pandemic of Covid-19 put a damper on that and one of the confusions I have seen a lot is that we do work internationally and people were confused how it would slow things down since we work internationally and we work at home and the reason for that is we do work internationally we have a lot of people spread out in a lot of places and the lead programmer for 096 had an exposure scare in March and obviously we wanted to take each other seriously and if someone is not safe then we don't want to push them to work. So a bit of progress halted because of that but, overall I think it comes down to that we were ambitious but we did not account for real life circumstances and we are sorry for that. We want to make up the fact that MP2 took so long by showing that we can do consistent updates again within a decent time frame and MP2 took a very long time we thought we had the pieces in place to make Scopophobia not take a long time but global circumstances affected that negatively and we still hope to have it out in April, we don't know if we will be able to do April we're still trying our very hardest to do that but early May might be a thing. We are not trying to intentionally delay we're moving as fast as we can to get everything fixed.

Hubert also adds by saying this : Essentially we'll release it as soon as it's ready so even if it was not going to be early May then it's going to be something closer to the middle or even end of May. This is only because we want this update to be released with as little errors as possible so we will be keeping that update under development for as long as we are getting a lot of bug reports.

They continued talking about this but I wanted the main thing to be addressed which was covid-19. if you want to hear more skip to 36 min. and 30 sec. in the stream I provided a link to at the very top of this description. :happypolice:

#2 Q: Will 939 have stamina ?

A: No because 939 is heavily relies on being able to keep up with humans and humans move slightly faster now with stamina. Walk speed is increased and their run speed has been increased.


After answering 939's question Hubert changes his attachment for the E-11. There is one new one called the "Gyroscopic Stabilizer" it reduced recoil by 25% HOWEVER it will change your crosshair from a dot to to capital T's on their sides with a gap between them. I might be wrong and it is already in game but the crosshair being changed is new I will double check when I can.

#3 Q: Will SCP-173 get his Model on a update from an other SCP or does SCP-173 get his Model on his Update?

A: 173 will be getting his remodel with his rework - answered by Sin
(Basically the reason for the change is the same reasons for SCP:Unity's : 173's model cannot be used for commercial use and in some cases that includes patreon)

Ava also said after the 173 model change question that they plan to bring back the April fools 173 model named "Mr. Nutty", the one with teeth.

Ava also talks about some more small 096 changes. Most notably the further you are away from 096 when you trigger him the slower the rage animation happens. For example next to him 3 sec, far from him 5 sec.

They also fixed his face range so now you can enrage him by looking across the surface zone now so he no longer has to be way to close to be triggered.

#4 Q: Can you view these (refering to spawning tickets remaining) in game ?

A: You cannot in the current (upcoming) build.

#5 Q: How do you get more tickets ?

#6 Q: In a later update, will there be an update to 096 where he/she/it stays enraged as long as each person that looked at him/her/it is alive? would be neat

A: Right now no for balance reasons having an infinite rage is really strong even if you cannot see the people because if somebody looks at you even once you can see them and kill them. Whenever somebody new looks at your face your rage duration gets increased for a few more seconds. (3 seconds) The more people that look at you the longer the rage will last (shortest being 15 seconds).

#7 Q: While 096 is in rage, can he open a blast door at the same time ?

A: (answered by Hubert) If you mean anything like Gate B then the answer is yes, if you are talking about the real blast doors that close on alpha warhead detonation then not.

#8 Q: Will there be a blink meter ?

A: A blink meter is not going to happen and the reason for that is because SCPs have their kits all based around vision and 173 is a big one and allowing human players especially because there are so many of them to manipulate that by pressing a button is very strong. If you could time your blinks and keep 173 in place forever then you can just shoot him to death and he couldn't be able to do anything and will not be fun for 173 and after awhile not fun for humans - Ava

#9 Q: Why does 939's bite now apply the amnestic status effect ?

A: The reason for that is because canonically 939's breath is amnestic it has an amnesia inducing effect and I believe the foundation uses that while in the production of amnestics but we wanted to apply that in some form in game while also giving the status effects a place - Ava

#10 Q: Will status effects also be noticeable from other people like bleeding will show someone dripping blood and panic and asphixated gasping for air ?

A: Not for awhile

#11 Q: Any new achievements ?

A: Yes, I think there is 4 ? - Nostra (Actually 5 new ones)

All steam achievements icons will be replaced with new art for them. All of them are made by k0vac and ventpixel (Skip to 1 hr. 17 min. 15 sec. to view these)

#12 Q: Is the adrenaline achievement going to be fixed in Scopophobia ?

A: Yes - Ava

#13 Q: Will there be weapon mod presets / save options?

A: Right now no it's something that could happen in the future but we haven't considered it right now - Ava

#14 Q: What will be reworked or changed about Dr. L's Office & The Conference room across from it in Entrance Zone?

A: These are old assets and they're eventually going to be removed. After Scopophobia we want to focus on getting all of the old assets out of the game so we can have a feasible original identity that isn't just Containment Breach - Ava

#15 Q: Hey, are you ever going to (or at least planning to) add V.R. support into the game?

A: V.R. support is a pipe (hype ?) train right now it is nowhere near feasible. It might happen in the very far flung future but I would not put my hopes on it. - Ava

While talking about balance changes Ava says that 049-2 no longer has a windup for attacking and they can now break all windows (except those at 106's chamber)

Also SCP-939s damage ATM does random damage from 50-80. In scopophobia it will now always be 65 and being bitten multiples times adds to the duration of Amnesia. (2 seconds at max on one bite)

Tesla gates no longer cause you major lag even if you stand in front of them (there is a very small chance it can happen if you have a poop PC by how I see that)

#16 Q: Will there be an FOV slider?

A: No - Nostra

Also now when players disconnect they drop their items and "die" leaving a corpse behind.

Blood no longer goes onto doors and they fixed random very BIG piles of blood

Ragdolls of humans will disappear after a few minutes. Items will still be there so no worries about that.

#17 Q: Will the muzzle booster attachment for the NTF rifle ever be nerfed as it has 208 DPS.

A: I'm pretty sure Wave was looking into a nerf for it because it is mathematically incredibly strong right now.

Logicers will most likely be replaced with a different weapon in the future for C.I. but will probably get its own armory like the H.I.D.

#18 Q: Which SCP is going to get their rework next ?

A: No details yet but the next one will be 173 and his model is ready. - Ava

#19 Q: if you are in a corner and 096 goes into you can you still enraged him ?

A: Yes (summing up the responses from Ava and Hubert)

#20 Q: A human rework going to be made ?

A: Yes we're aiming to change human animations and models. I don't know when it will happen but it will happen. - Ava

#21 Q: When will you lower the price for patrons to test Scopophobia ?

A: Most likely next week - Hubert

#22 Q: Will 096 have an AHP cap ?

A: No not right now. It will reset when he is out of rage and that is when he is most vulnerable - Ava

#23 Q: Will there be an optimization update ?

A: Optimization is going to be a very big part of the update after this one - Ava

#24 Q: Will 939 get a rework ?

A: 939 is probably going to be the last SCP maybe before 049 and 079. I think 079 currently doesn't quite need a rework maybe some balancing changes or some additional expansions because we actually have the system of 079 that was actually written and (situated ?) that actually allows expansion without too much interference with its code. 939 is going to be one of the last SCPs to be reworked. - Hubert

Hubert talks about the idea of Gate X which you can listen to at 1 hr. 46 min. 20 sec. and was meant to take place of the evacuation shelters. Basically like another gate from the surface but it leads straight to H.C.Z.

#25 Q: Will the rest of L.C.Z. be changed to match the new style ?

A: Yes we are trying to get rid of all the old rooms and add in original ones and that will be a big focus of the patch after this. - Ava

The MP7 is going to get a remodel sometime in the future, unknown when it will actually happen.

#26 Q: Pocket Dimension rework ?

A: That will happen when 106 gets his rework. - Ava

Hubert says the reworks will likely be 173, 106, 939, 049 and 079 will probably not be reworked but just expanded in one of them.

#27 Q: What is your fave class in the game Hubert ?

A: Scientists or Tutorial.

#28 Q: Individual models for 049-2 for each class ?

A: Technically feasible but I don't think we have the art talent right now to make it happen for each class to have its own individual model especially because some of the models don't look great as it is. I wouldn't count on it right now - Ava

#29 Q: After MP3 which SCP are you considering adding ?

A: There is a lot on the list but there is nothing confirmed right now and there is a lot of ideas out there. SCP items are not a part of this if we can think on an interesting SCP item we want to add it will probably be a lot easier to do that model wise. We don't have to rework SCP items. - Ava

#30 Q: Will you add any other groups of interest ?

A: No we are not adding any new G.O.I. Serpent's Hand, no, G.O.C., no, if anything we want to rework our current formations before we add in a new ones or alter them in any way to make the gameplay more interesting. So sorry. - Sin

#31 Q: Female D-class when ?

A: It's too far in the future to consider new models because we're still working on the animations and general human rework and there's been a lot of internal debate whether or not the community would be able to receive that in a way that is mature. Right now that is far into the future. - Ava

#32 Q: Can u rage 096 while in the hat invisibility?

A: Yes he can see you while you're wearing the hat - Ava

#33 Q: Tesla Gates in Light Containment ?

A: Probably not but that does remind me that we might want to look at sinkholes a bit more. Refine them more and make them a more interesting environmental hazard. - Ava

#34 Q: Will there be a day time to the surface zone ?

A: We did experiment with the daytime skybox for the surface zone instead of a nighttime and we found that will just ruin the atmosphere we're trying to go for that and it causes a lot of lighting issues in the way it is built. - Sin

#35 Q: Will you enraged 096 if you're blinded by a flash bang ?

A: I don't believe he will and however the blindness status effect does not count for that since it is just a blur. - Ava

Grenades now have a slight damage decrease due to them now applying status effects

#36 Q: 096 triggering better ?

A: Yes, if you see 096 at all if you see his face regardless of range you are now on his target list. - Ava

#37 Q: When will the new achievement icons come out ?

A: We will likely be changing those with release of Scopophobia maybe before but the icons are ready to go. The new achievements might be too late to implement into this patch but they would probably happen in a minor patch after that. - Ava

#38 Q: How long does 268 make you invisible ?

A: I believe it is 10 seconds right now however the new system of status effects there is actually a possibility of changing that duration by server owners like using mods plus using the remote admin and you can set it to infinite. - Hubert

Shortly after answering this Ava also states that now SCPs can now be made invisible since 268s invisibility is a status effect. So admins can now make others invisible even if they cannot even grab 268.

173 under the effects of 268 will still make it stop when being looked at despite being invisible.

#39 Q: Hubert, why did you decide to make SCP:SL? Where did you expect this project to go? Are you satisfied on the current game?

A: Yes I am definitely satisfied where the game goes I decided to make SCP:SL mostly because my friend (cannot spell name) Kannada(?) was making a game mode for garry's mod called containment breach and I was really satisfied by how it was working and I asked him if I could make a rework of it to test if random map generation and other features can be a thing and this is how this all started.

096 can also kill people who have not seen or shot it even though they cannot be seen by 096 which is mostly accidental like attacking a target and a non target just happens to be in front of them.

Edit April 30th: Gyroscopic Stabilizer is already in game, when Scopophobia launches it will only receive the new crosshair when it launches since it already has the other effect on it.

Edit May 5th: A small detail I missed is that now when 096's rage state is over he completely stops moving unlike 096 ATM where he will keep moving just stop being in the rage state. So now when it ends you are temporarily immobile.

Edit May 11th: The link to the stream no longer works. Twitch has deleted it ,however there are still clips of the stream if you need confirmation.

Please note I did not do every question either because : It was already asked earlier in the stream OR they already answered it in a steam discussion thread or their discord FAQ. I spent probably 5 hours doing this. My fu**ing autism took it more time then needed to type out some questions and answers. I also wrote down some stuff I found interesting even if they were not asked but shown or talked about during the stream. I hope you make use of this Dbat. :2018saliengoo1:

'Twas in twitch chat and I can not remember the timestamp. By momentum I mean ragdoll momentum.
