What does SCP-096 do to its victim when it attacks them?
So I was reading about SCP-096 and low and behold, I come across a [DATA EXPUNGED]. "Upon arriving at SCP-096-1's location, SCP-096 will proceed to kill and [DATA EXPUNGED] SCP-096-1". So what does 096 do here?

Most likely tear to pieces to the point of the corpse being unrecognizable.

I don't think so, because right after that part, it reads "100% of cases have left no traces of SCP-096-1". And personally, I doubt tearing a corpse apart to the point of it being unrecognizable would leave no traces.

Well it doesn't just tear the corpses, it also LITERALLY eats the pieces of the body and probably leaves some chunks of gore and bones along with a massive puddle of blood, in that case, you CANNOT recognize the body at all, of course, you can identify the blood, but you just cant recognize the body.

This is the message if you get killed by 096 in Containment Breach:
"A large amount of blood found in [DATA REDACTED]. DNA identified as Subject D-9341. Most likely [DATA REDACTED] by SCP-096."
It basically tears you apart, and then eats you, leaving just a large amount of blood.

Well that explains that, but what about the "100% of cases have left no traces" part?

I think it's meant to the body, that he left no traces of it.
