Dealing over 1500 damage to 096 single handedly, the following MTF wave that spawned over a whole minute later was able to flatten him in seconds.

What was changed, that resulted in Humans (D-Class, Scientists, MTF and Chaos) now taking fall damage when running straight off the raised walkway to Elevator B on the Surface?
Previously, when MTF Laser Rifles still existed, you could run off this raised walkway (without jumping at all) and take no damage.
Something was changed in the space between the MTF Laser Rifles and the current "modern" trash weapons we have now. Humans now take fall damage from that fall, yet their hitbox and overall model seems to remain the same as it was.
The current "fix" to this issue when you are on the walkway towards Elevator B on the Surface is to run towards the Helicopter landing point and run straight off the raised section to the lowest point of the ramp. This way you will not take damage.
A literal difference of one pixel, even at the lowermost point of the ramp, prevents you from taking damage.
The issue is not that running onto a (slightly higher) lower platform means that you dont take fall damage. The issue is -why- this was changed. -Why- do Humans now take fall damage sooner from a lesser height, when all SCP's can literally throw themselves from the highest point of the map with no damage whatsoever unless they encounter an insta-kill barrier such as the one down the pit in the Heavy Containment Armory?
