in lore the NTF are Epsilon 11 yet every time an moblie task force spawns they are given an random MTF name so.... the MTF can only be called NTF if they are Epsilon 11.....

Okay excuse me, there is MTF, ntf is a subclass of MTF, then there is epsilon-11, which basically is still ntf, but with another designation (foxtrot, li(g)ma etc.

I call them MTF myself. Mobile Task Force. Some call them NTF. Thinking about it all the MTF could be composed of multiple task forces, with NTF being only a part of it. So for all we know only a few might be NTF with the rest being some other company under MTF.

People make topics to find out more about said lore as well. People can and will continue to make topics regardless of knowing the lore fully or not. If people followed your advice we'd be missing a large number of topics in this group. Which would make for quite an inactive community.

And even what is known can be debated about. Even the basics. More so when it comes to this game. Lore tends to take a back seat in the interest of fun gameplay. Devs said so themselves.

Mabye iv started a useless conversation, just mabye people are saying MTF and I mishear it as NTF just mabye....
But please when you spawn as MTF or facility guard please look in the upper right hand corner and THAT will tell you your Callsign (its the underlined one) and unless it’s Epsilon 11 (which it probably won’t due to it being randomised) you are not the Nine Tailed Fox (because NTF is Epsilon 11s nickname)

The designation for Nine Tailed Fox is Epsilon-11. To refer to NTF as shorthand, you would do E-11. Their other designation would just be the team.

The MTF that spawns in is Epsilon-11 AKA Nine-Tailed-Fox, which is the specific group of MTF tailored to deal with facility breaches. Other MTF task forces deal with other things, such as anomalous object/entity capture / acquisition, etc.

I agree with the OP to an extent.
Epsilon-11 refers to the codename for NTF.
If you are of any other designation, you are from other MTF units like Hammer Down, Pandora Boxoh what am i saying this group is a meme, or Home Improvement, which is confusing as the responsibility in taking back control of the facility lies in the NTF, not others.
I'll propose that the units should be seperated into either NATO phonetics , say "Epsilon-11, Unit Alpha/Bravo" or Greek letters "Epsilon-11, Unit Alpha/Beta/Gamma". But of course, there should be a number behind the Unit for everyone. Say Alpha-1 for commanders, Alpha 2 to 4 for lieutenants, and rest for cadets.
