how's the community?

downloading the game right now looks like lots of fun,but i was wondering is the community toxic or forgiving? because im gonna be a newbie for a while

Depends. Some people are okay and fun to play with. Some just mic spam or scream and must be driven away from the server. Generally the usual. Sometimes you will rage and sometimes you will make a 300 IQ play.

there are communities that toxicness is spread through spores,like people are almost encouraged to be toxic(like the dead by daylight and the for honor communities)and i was wondering if they were like those

No no no. Well sometimes. But if you are lucky you will find a good server with little to no toxic people.

The community is amazing and terrible at the same time. Here are just a few types of people you should know about though:

The Traitor: They may come off as friendly at first but they will attempt to kill you, steal your card, disarm you, trap you, or screw you over at any possible chance they can get once they gain your trust, whether they're on the same team as you or not. Do keep in mind that most of these people will be D-Class.

The Mic-Spamming Child: These types of people can typically be found in any server except for RP servers. These creatures can be contained and neutralized by luring them into the Intercom Room and having them executed by a firing squad.

The Mute: Doesn't have a mic and probably can't hear you either. I'd say about 1 in every 4 players is a mute.

toxicity comes from competitivity , so no, yes there are micblowers, racists etc buts thats on every free game on the market. if i can quote another discussion "find a community not a server" , join a discord, make friends, for example im in disaster den and they have a report section with admins online most of the times

In my opinion, there is no toxicity. At least, I haven't seen it. People on the servers I play on are usually very nice and just want to have fun.

You're definately doing to run into the following

-Actual players
-Micspammers who spam annoying music or horrible deafening music
-Micspammers who spam good music and aren't really annoying but rather comedic
-Kids (Some are annoying, some aren't)
-Trolls
-Card / Item Thieves (Don't leave your card / items alone and this won't happen)
-Police Brutality (Facility Guards who kill D-Class on sight instead of disarming)
-Friendly Police (Facility Guards that arrest and convert D-Class to Guards - Some servers only)
-Friendly SCPs
-SCPs who kill all humans
-Professional Hide and Seek Masters who prolong the game by hiding in one spot

That's all I got. Most people just want to have fun tho.

The DBD community can go suck a big one. The whole "Us vs Them needs to stop." I like games that randomize postionings.

Like in SCP you can either spawn aas D-Class or SCPs. It's quite unique. I like it.

Play on a server with Friendly fire off, at least for a while. There's less capability for trolling so there should be friendlier people there!
