Why do people call SCP-106 larry?
He's not a cucumber. Like I understand why people would call 173 peanut, as there is some resemblance; same with 939 being named doggo.

Well, people have been calling him Larry before SCP: SL. Infact, it got so popular 106's backstory calls him Lawrence. http://www.scp-wiki.net/the-young-man

There's some backstory about the name "Radical Larry" and how it used to be a meme and stuff, look it up if you're interested.

Suppose this explains it. https://www.reddit.com/r/SCP/comments/6fss1g/where_does_106s_nickname_radical_larry_come_from/

Funny enough, there's a note in CB refering to this.

The SCP Foundation just call him that. And 939 is kinda a meme.

Radical Larry is an urban myth. He is all business all the time. He vibrates through walls and can burrow underground.
