096 does not feel like 096
SCP-096 should be buffed just a bit more.
my idea for 096.

he should go into rage mode when someone sees him from the front with NO CHARGE-UP. idk what is going on when you lose your rage after like 12 seconds of hearing all of 096's scream audio files. whenever you lose your rage mode, you are helpless which will lead to being gunned down and you cannot go back into your rage.
that recharge should be removed, i hate playing as 096, which is my favorite SCP!

Players that saw scp 096 from the front will be highlighted bright red on 096's screen. 096 will see that and he cannot kill anyone else unless they saw his face. only SCP 096-1 will be highlighted, but it cannot fade no matter how far the player is from 096. once 096 kills them, he will go back to his neutral state.

scp 096 should not be able to die, or at least have a massive amount of health!

the tesla gates cannot kill 096, but it WILL stagger him for a few seconds before getting back up and continuing his charge.

shooting 096 will stagger him. slowing him down. shooting anywhere else does nothing.

lastly... a model change.

to me, i feel useless being 096 in this game, because he's my favorite SCP for how powerful and terrifying he is. he is so easy to kill and avoid in this because of his flaws! he's honestly a joke to be in SCP:SL, and i REALLY think he should be changed badly.

This... this isn't a good idea. Tesla gates are made to kill, wether it be a SCP or a human. How would players being highlighted work when they are on different floors? 096 is not supposed to be overpowered. Lots of the mechanics mostly balance him out. There are some problems, but you complaining about it being your favorite SCP and it not living up to your standards doesn't matter.

But I do agree, he isn't the strongest.

I've seen posts where people thought that the recharge time was actually too small. Removing rage recharge would actually be too op.

+2 That red highlight is ABSOLUTELY needed. I have no idea why devs haven't implemented this yet despite being suggested so much.

Just use your extreme speed to force players to look at you, leaving one alive, thus never ending your rage. I have to disagree with this point.

However I am sort of neutral towards your point suggesting that 096 can't kill players that haven't looked at him. On the one hand it makes logical sense however I feel that he would be too weak.
Imagine going to into rage just to be able to kill only one player. Not fun.

096 SHOULD be able to die. Maybe a minor health buff but having him be near invincible would break the game. As well as that, tesla gates in general should not be able to kill SCPs in one go IMO. 096 is unstoppable during his rage, maybe making invicible during his rage ONLY would be better.

Model change to what? Any suggestions?

096 should be that SCP that if you look at it you know its over. And atm it isn't. It needs some real buff instead of a minor walking speed buff.

i never said anything about a walking speed. however... it really sucks to just lose your rage after hearing all of 096's screams.

nah, whenever i'm 096, his rage recharge always gets me killed when i'm facing against a small army of MTF. he should'nt do that imo.

whoever is in his way and saw his face too will also be highlighted red and a text woud say "You are now SCP-096-1", which means that they are highlighted red now. it would be something lame to just kill 1 or 2 players, but.. that's just how 096 is.

yeah, the invincibility when he is in rage would be a better idea. a health buff at least would be nice.

i feel like the tesla gates should stun ONLY 096 and take a big chunk of his health. everybody else can die still.

shoot, i forgot something. i meant shooting him in the legs will barely stagger him. anywhere else does nothing at all.

and the model should be similar to his SCP containment breach appearance. he just looks weird in this game to me. but.. that's just a nitpick of me.

Lol. Most powerful SCP yet gets added, people complain he's UP. Devs respond and buff him to make him even stronger, people cry that he's still too hard and needs another buff.
SCP-096 does not need a buff until they can fix his coding. He can be triggered even if you're not looking at him. I literally just looked so far into a wall my camera clipped through it and he still triggered from behind me.

To remove being able to speed anywhere, 096 should be confined to a path that leads to 096-1, or multiple.

Wierd, when I play as 096 a whole mtf squad could look at me for 2 seconds and still not be triggered.

exactly. sometimes even more then that for me. it feels like a whole minute is needed to recharge your rage.

Red highlight, yes
Health buff, yes. But not indestructible.
Tesla gate stun, yes. This should be a staple for all SCPs.
Model change, yes. I'm sure the devs are working on it.

No -1 096 already has been buffed extremely. Hubert makes the SCPs on how he sees the SCP foundation in his own eyes. Therefore not everything is going to be exactly like lore.

make it so that only directly looking at his face in your crosshair affects it and make ppl who didnt look at you invisible.

that could make sense, but hearing him and then looking away sounds better. the crosshair would be kinda dumb imo. mainly cause it would be hard to trigger 096.
