To all of those talking about converting to RPC:
It's not gonna happen. Here are the reasons why.

1. RPC may be a rip-off, but not a clone. RPC is basically just SCP created by those who hate the admins(/one, more on that later). However, no RPC is a copy of an SCP; they are all original. This means we'd lose peanut, screamy-boi, birb and larry, not to mention upcoming 939 and others planned. The devs aren't going to recreate everything because of your opinion on one (hopefully contained) incident on the SCP wiki.

2. The political-pusher has been contained. AFAIK, it was one guy on staff who banned other people's political views. One staff convinced them to step down, which he has done, and now the whole SCP team is sorry for the divide and are trying to repair the damage done. At the end of this month, the pride flag will be removed as pride month is over and that'll do wonders to diffuse the tension.

3. RPC might fall. I am not saying it will 100% chance fall, but it might. To put it simply, they aren't policing bad articles well, staff might not get hired, bad people don't currently have a punishment system (AFAIK), it is currently hostile to new people (unlike SCP) and the community is stubborn. Sourced from here. It is also likely that if the tension on SCP fades away people might migrate back. Given the choice between a well-known, supportive and historical wiki and a harsh, new, small, copycat and potentally temporary wiki, you're not crazy for choosing the former.

It's too much effort and the situation will resolve in a few weeks.

I think RPC will probably die, its a great idea and concept but its just not popular enough and deosnt have much influence as SCP.

Really bad fanarts of RPCs, like the amount of self-drawn SCP-173 artworks found on Deviantart after the release of SCP:CB

So? Don't look at them. They don't affect you. If RCP gains popularity, it'll have exactly the same issue. Changing this to RCP:SL would increase RCP popularity. With all the squeakers that already play the game, this would make them interested in RCP, meaning you'd have loads of cr*p artwork of RCP (apparently you care about that a lot for some reason). Also, all the other points still hold up.

Nono, the artworks doesn't mean that I hate it. Rather it reflects the popularity of the game (FNAF, Sonic etc). I do agree with you that having a large fanbase will stimulate that particular community.
But since the one responsible for the "outbreak" resigned (from the other posts), RPC isn't really necessary now.

RPC will thrive.

You didn't address any of my reasons why it might fall but even if it doesn't it's not becoming RPC:SL because it's too much effort. The situation will be over and quite a few who supported RCP because of it will switch back to SCP once they see the argument's over (at least, IMO).
