Opening doors
Doors open when you press on the door itself too. Is this a temporary solution until a door system like in Containment Breach is implemented? Or is everything as it should be?

There was a vote about this in the public Discord, what I remember was that it will stay the way it is (meant)

It say its a good thing. The survivor needs every advantage it can get. Especially when peanut and cryboi are working together, it can become a tedious survival game.
Personally, I would like it to be like in CB. But I also wouldn't like it in the same time, because this is a multiplayer game and as Noob Noob said, survivors need every advantage.

What are you talking about? The vote was in favor of *changing* it by a landslide, not keeping it the same.

Hubert said there were too many "no" votes for it and we decided not to change it.

What was the point of the vote then? If all it required to completely nullify the yes votes was just a decent amount of no votes, why even bother with a vote in the first place?

Hubert didn't participate in the votes making. Eviction made the vote. Hubert didn't say to make the vote.

I actually hope there will be another voting in the future.

Button only would of been absolute hell for humans, especially if an scp camps the door.

They know, there was even a vote on whether or not it should be changed so players have to press the button instead (More people voted on the only button option, but apparantly enough people wanted the door option open that the devs decided on not making the change).

This makes me think, what's the door closing meta? Some humans run through and close doors super fast, I guess they're just spam clicking the button or the frame?

I personally like how it is now, sometimes when I press the button to close the door it closes before I can get through. Strafing and spam clicking the door frame makes the process or running and closing doors a bit easier for me

One thing I don't like about how it is now is with the airlock rooms. What is even the point of having a button at the end of a short hall if you can just click on the inside of the door to cycle them?
