"Reserved slots"
So a particular popular server has this thing where you can pay to have a "reserved slot." What does this mean if you play on this said popular server and don't pay them? They kick you on a whim at any time, mostly during the start of a round after you've waited in spectator for one round after joining. But at times when you're actively playing as well.

It's one thing to kick because you don't follow their server rules. Quite another because you're not a paying member.

I know it is their server and all. But with it being one of the most popular servers (since they suck up the population into it) that's in my region with little other choices; especially friendly fire off servers. It's kind of a downer playing this game. Since I'm either playing by myself or not at all.

Wonder if any one else runs into this issue and what the developers think about it?

It can happen for the following reasons only on round restart;

1) Somebody was using the reserved slot which will randomly kick someone at tge restart to restore tge nax player count.

2) At the moment tge server accepts connections if someone hits join with a faster connection than you, there's a chance they grab your slot and results in the server full message.

If you're kicked mid round thays either the connection dropping out you're actually being kicked by an admin.

Reserve slots only affect round restarts if its over the player cap

Reserved slots mean it can go over the server cap so a full server (20/20) can then have something like 24/20 players. Just means even when full you can still play.

Doesn't seem like they're doing it that way though. Seems like a similar issue with this other thread: https://steamcommunity.com/app/700330/discussions/0/1692669912385916128/
