For example, a button that could end everything is safe due to the fact that it is simply a button that, as long as it is not pressed, doesn't do anything.
If something exists that is not fully understood and you have no clue on what the hell it would do if left alone, it's euclid (which is an ancient mathematician)
If something requires a highly complex or incredibly hard containment procedure (see SCP-2845) it would be keter (which is Hebrew for crown)
If something can be harnessed or used against threats towards The Foundation (like other SCPs or social issues) it is classed Thaumiel (again, more Hebrew)
If something is dead or terminated, it is Neutralized
If The Foundation can understand it well enough, it classed as Explained
Finally, Apollyon classes are given to the BIG GUYS, nothing can stop them, they pose some of the greatest of threats ever to humanity itself.
Please note: all of these WILL be on the test.
If you want the straight answer though, it would appear to be Dr George W. Maynard. Google it.
i myself dont really like when people mention apollyion since it,is not mentioned in the object classes page (unless you count the narrative classes),is rarely used, and it kinda feels like it would fit in the keter class instead (even more so if you use the locked box test),and tbh if you are going to include apollyon you may as well include all the 30+ classifications that have been created and the threat levels
If something is semi-hard to contain and poses a lesser amount of threat, it zeno.
If SCP-001 is a spiral path, it is Embla.
If something poses an unknown threat and has no known capabilities, it is classed as '53'.
The area underneath the O5 headquarters are referred to as Yesod
If something poses no anomalous powers, it classed non-anomalous.
Eric's toy is Safe-Prodest as well as Euclid-Impetus
984 is Safe-Impetus
If something is an enemy it is classed as Nehemoth
If it needs to be pet often, it is classed as BFF
If something used to be a library it is classed as former.
If it is a 'sacred crown' it is classed as Glorious
If its description and containment procedures are muddled up it is classed as Kronecker
If in the past an article was bad, it was classed as decommisioned
Any other that I've missed out are either forum SCPs or strictly SCP-001 proposals
Yes also do not forget the Breach terms
XK =End of the world secnario
Blackout = all control over facility has been lost
(all beond this point do NOT comply to the lore and are made up)---------------------------------------
infection hazard = breach of a biohazard scp
OH NO = breach of 682 and 106 at the same time
Also keter means that the SCP is difficult to contain, not how likely it is to kill you, although most keter SCP's are deadly.
Also there is more then just XK-Class
CK-Class restructuring event - Normalcy is altered, certain parts of history or ecosystems are changed
ZK-Class End of Reality - Read the title
YK-Class Entropic Annihilation Event - The entire universe is completely changed
These are the only real 'solidified' K-Class scenarios. Almost every other number can have two entirely different meanings.
