Anticheat stopped playing

Tried to finish the tutorial but the hunter was bugged, didnt allow me to finish him so I decided to jump into Abella with the ticket. At the screen, when selecting "play" it says "anticheat stopped playing" and I cant do anything else. Is this a bug?

I've heard of this issue once before however, it sort of resolved itself for the person who had it.

What they did was just restart the client (so totally close the game/client, then re-ran it).

I had the exact same issue.

Returning player (new toon), travelling from Newbie Island to Abella. Received an error message about "anti-cheat stopped you from playing".

I simply shut the client and launcher down. Re-started.

The problem resolved itself.
