No NA Region?
Decided, against my better judgment, to give this game a shot again, but when I load the game up and it tells me to select a region, I only see Europe. Did the devs give up on NA, or is something broken?

Pretty sure Bobik said on the discord there's only going to be an EU server from now on

There will be no NA servers. The plan is to have just 2 servers hosted in Germany from now on (Epleland and the new server).

Was that said during the AMA?
Summanus Feb 1, 2019 @ 11:03pm
No, it was said a few weeks ago on the Discord. No NA servers - everything hosted in EU now.

Bobik also said they are looking into getting a chinese server, No NA in the near future. the game needs to do well with the upcoming patch for it to happen

I wonder why they abandoned NA then... weird. I also wish devs would post things on Steam if that's where they released the game. I hate having to search through Discord posts for news.

Yes, sadly you only get half the picture on Steam - they withhold a lot of information from Steam forum users, particularly anything that might have a negative impact on sales.

If you want to know whats really going on with the game you pretty much have to join the Discord channel.

I don't like Discord. At least not for news and updates and stuff. The reason I got into buying games on Steam was because all the updates, development info, and forums were all on one platform. I don't want to have six different logins just to keep track of what's going on in a game. I know complaining isn't going to do anything because I'm in the minority and this is just the way things are going. It's like having to have a github account just to report a bug, rather than having a built in bug reporter, or an email address I can send bug reports to. Nope, make a whole new account on a third party service.

oh no, it's not just you, they should've posted this information on steam for people who don't use discord, which is a lot of people, you can't expect your business to be successful if you only post important information and update notices on discord or twitter, in truth there should be at least 1 person on the team that focuses on managing community stuff like announcements and making sure patch notes are on all the forums and social platforms they use. a lot of people play too many games to go way out of there way for one that they haven't wanted to play in awhile, most people keep an eye on steam news for games that they wanted to watch for updates and announcements to see if the game is still developing at a decent rate, especially for early access games as the content that is there can get bland quick

For example - they have now confirmed (in the AMA) that the game is going Free-to-Play after the update, but no mention of that here on Steam.
