Selling to the crown

Hi guys,

I was wondering, how do people pay for the upkeep of their claims these days?
I used to sell armor to the crown, but that price has basicly dropped from 1 silver 20 copper to 14 copper. So in essense I'd need 5 times the amount of armor to get the same revenues, making the grind really bad.

Any suggestions? I mean I don't mind spending an hour or 2 each day but as it stands that doesn't cut it anymore.

Why do you make gold and silver worthless?

Okay you can´t sell gold or silver anymore. But why can´t you sell jewlery? This does not make any sence?
I can sell equipment like a sword or armor, but i can´t sell gold and silver rings/amulets ?????

Please say why.

210 skill points dedicated to creating jewelery, another 60 for prospecting gold, and it is now worthless! Gold and silver ore I could rationalize, but jewelery?! Looks like I'll be leaving the game soon.

The price of items sold to the crown fluctuate based on supply and the volume of items sold.
