1.
There should be Clay below Earth.
In General Clay is usually found below Swamps because the Clay blocks Water and thus Creates the Swamp.
The Map should have more Swamps and below that should be large Clay Depots.
2.
Sand should be everywhere.
After Digging 3-10 Meters you should hit Sand.
There is barely any Place on Earth where you wont find Sand when digging down.
3.
Brache should become Fertile Soil automaticly if its left alone for 3 Crops Cycles.
Earth enriches with Rain. So it staying Soil forever after Harvest does not make sense.
4.
Soil Quality should raise by 1 Point with each Raining Day.
And Decrease by 20 with each Harvest.
