Haha, That's a misunderstanding. The truth is that there's a rule of my college that "Students shouldn't bring their own computer to school in their first semester" So after 15 January 2016, I’ll have plenty of time to use my personal computer :)
Anyway, thanks for your courage
BTW, Mr Snake. Do you mind become my first foreign friend?
(It seems that I might become your first foreign online firend too)
BTW2, this message was supposed to be sent to you 3 hours ago but Steam Community was down.
it's funny that you can check if steam is down at issteamdown.com. And you can check if issteamdown.com is down at isissteamdowndown.com.
Can't stop laughing
I started with Tomb Raider II many years ago.
I'd personally rank the series:
TRII > TR: Anniversary > TR(2013) > TR: Legend > TRIV > TRIII >TRV > TR: Underworld > TR: AoD
I do think it's a bit silly that we've had a reboot followed by a reboot OF a reboot, especially since both were by the same developers, but whatever.
The camera's awful, though, I agree. I realize I'm part of a minority by liking Tomb Raider for gameplay, but come on, nobody needs that much triangle boob in their face.
For me, TR was always about puzzles and here where's games mentioned in the title really shine. Older TR games suffered from stiff control issues which made it hard to actually get where you wanted to even if you knew solution to the puzzle, but Legend, Anniversary and Underworld had hit a sweet spot with both good controls and nice puzzles. Sure, there are few shootings here and there but not to the point it makes it third person shooter, like they did with reboots.
Also, I'd compare the new ones to Rogue Trooper if anything, which might explain why I thought it was the best thing ever :\
I guess if I had to nitpick anything other than Lara in Legends, 1/3 of Anniversary and Underworld it would be the level designs and I don't mean the puzzles I mean the idea of semi-backtracking - there are too many parts where you need to you're going through the level and you need to go a separate path where you waste from 5 to 10 minutes to get an item or pull a switch just so you could get back to the main path of the level and then end of the level turned out to be just a couple of meters away from the level's starting point. ( Tomb Raider Legend examples are : Ghana ( West Africa ) and England - both the levels that witch the boring motorcycle segments just ruined the entire level; Tomb Raider Anniversary: Temple of Midas and the Obelistk of Khamoon; Tomb Raider Underworld: almost all the levels do that ) this semi-backtrack design honestly doesn't make me feel good for completing or "100%ting" a level it makes me feel like I've not made any progress or achieved anything rather than take a few steps forwards and done. Again I'd like to apologize for ranting like some snob who has nothing better to do with his life.
