I LOVE The Celestial One

Let me start by thanking the people that made this game, as a FFT fan it really was a great alternative, and while the game has its flaws, overall I have had a good time with it.

This is my 4th playthrough of the game, I played it before in PS4, and now that I bought a gaming PC I decided to bought the game again and this time with the DLC. I debated a lot to get the DLC, especially because of the timers, but they were managed well, the timers are very friendly.

On topic, in one of the missions there is a recruit given to you in one of the missions, she is called The Celestial One, she immedialty captured my attention because of her unique and cool name, and I also liked the portrait chosen for her.

After checking her status I noticed she comes with very powerful caster jobs unlocked, but she is a Mercenary, looking in some discussions, some people were commenting that it was a bad design choice or that making her a caster was very difficult.

I really wanted to use her, but these comments kind of disappointed me, I was even tempted in resetting her levels, and then after analyzing the character better, I realized that her build is given on purpose, she is the perfect candidate to become a Princess (or Vessel if you like) with Blood Magic, she definitely has special status in MIND, because she doesn´t have low MIND at all, also her mercenary build makes a her a tanky mage, she is not as squishy as my dedicated mages/healers (Virgil, Lana and Yates). And she also gets a good ammount of HP becuase of it, perfect for using Blood Magic with Mystic Shield (and Economy).

She quickly became my favorite character, and the MVP in almost every battle, including the final boss. So for everyone doubting to use the Celestial One as a caster, DO IT, you will not get disappointed, DO NOT understimate her because she comes as a Mercenary. I gave her the Godsleg and the Spellbook Shield increasing her spell range +2, making her to snipe everything from afar.

This is one of the aspects that make me love this game a lot, the number of possibilites the game gives you to build your characters.

If the developers read this I would like to ask: What´s the story behind the Celestial One? Why is she called like that?

Does she really have a penalty to HP and DEF? it´s not very noticeable, they really did an excellent job with her.

And she is named after the lead artist, I see. That´s a very cool detail, good to know!

It's been a long time and I don't remember all the choices we made, but I believe some of the restrictions on the Celestial One was to make sure she wasn't too overpowered from the get go and you still had to put some effort to really make her shine.

Definitely, I had to study very well what I wanted to do with her and which equipment to use, and of course to grind what AP was necessary for the build I wanted for her.

And she is totally shinning in my team. So once again, thank you for what you did with this game. I really enjoyed a lot the Missions and Monster DLC and everything it included, and rhe Celestial One was like the ultimate reward for me.

I have no regrets to have bought Fell Seal twice.
