People discuss how to get various treasure ^_^
They are not impossible without clues. The game clearly shows even early on that Pektites can “float” on water. The point is that some secrets must be obtained later on (backtracking) instead of being able to “100% find things the first time”. This is indeed quite normal gameplay and not “impossible”—just things for players to figure out.
For most players the result is decrease confidence in dev ability to design good secrets/tricks. So yes this is done in this game or that game, it's hardly anymore a good design, at next secrets those players won't bother and will just check solution on internet.
You can accuse players doing that as much you want, it's still a consequence of dev design.
But by browing the guide and checking the spoilers you should be able find how solve your case, quote that spoilers means not much for this game, it's a weak point of the game otherwise great, you can as well spoil yourself fully and not lost much fun.
