I'm not going to say it's perfect, but it works for me. I would say this is a mission-enabling setup that favors missions over patrols. In this build, sometimes I replace the watchtower (more bandits) with a hunter's lodge (more drops), but that's the only one I vary in this build.
The tool that hammster made (see the link from Conan above) helped me optimize it.

That's my layout aiming at boosting as much as possible the missions results. I wanted to try the new feature. You got the cutler for +crit chance in patrol.
