Character turn 'time units'
Curious how exactly the time units work, is this detailed in game somewhere?
I am talking things like, is it 0-100? If you only use one action that turn (IE only move or use action) will your turn start quicker? I almost say it's obvious that some actions create a higher CD but maybe thats just from my perspective?

Right, so moving is basically free, if you end turn without taking an action you start at 25% of 100%?
So say you have 150 speed, would that roughly be 1.5x faster than 100speed?

Yes it does help , thank you for the response.

I will admit that I am unsure on the fine detail of what "25% faster means", as in, you only have to get to 75% of the target amount, or whether your speed is multiplied or something, as odd as it sounds, I don't delve into every mechanic deeply haha. I'm sure, however, someone else who does know more, will likely comment.

As for speed comparison, yeah, essentially. (Though, under normal circumstances, you'll not likely to see that big of speed gaps until we're comparing a hasted vs a slowed unit.)

Aocwinner--

I forget the exact number, but there is a certain target number which all characters aim for to get a turn, and it counts up your speed each turn to get there. So, this means that faster characters will act more often than slower ones, and not just "turn order" like it can be in more "Classic turn based" mechanics.

If you don't take an "action" (movement is irrelevant for this) you get your next turn 25% faster.

Various actions you do don't take "longer" than normal--a turn is a turn.

Hope this helps clarify some things.

Like Conan said, every actor adds their speed until they have enough to get a turn.
When you skip an action, you will start with that amount 25% filled already, so it will take less time to fill it to full again.
