To quote myself from the FAQ:
So yeah, 6 Eyes really doesn't want to have in that level of stealing in the game.
Now, I understand that some of your suggestions include some more general "stealing" (such as the "10 generic ones" comment) but in a sense, that's almost the same as their crafting system and "steal component" mechanic, which is what they're more interested in.
Now I know this isn't stealing, but there IS a Cursed Shield in the game somewhere ^_*
As for disarming, while that was certainly a cool feature in the FFT games, again, to help simplify / streamline the game, 6 Eyes decided on "just" having Cripple / Mute. I know that there are distinctions between Disarm and Cripple / Mute, but since Fell Seal doesn't have the "change equipment" option in battle, they've opted to cut that system in comparison to FFT.
As for steal-able accessories, again, that general idea is kind of covered in the "Steal Component" mechanic (craft stuff) and "Steal Gold" ability (be able to buy stuff). Stealing is something which is to be rewarded in Fell Seal, but 6 Eyes has been very careful to not make it feel like "you're missing out" if you don't focus on it.
So, interesting ideas, but 6 Eyes has decided to differ from FFT with how they handle stealing.
Guillaume-
First, I would recommend not commenting on a particularly old thread and "necro-ing" it.
Secondly, there is no stealing of equipment in this game, so what you said is not correct.
The description of the Scoundrel says:
"They are adept at acquiring what others possess."
If stealing equipment is not in the game I suppose this is a typo / translation error? Hopefully it can be fixed in the next patch.
It clearly says in the beginning of the thread that stealing of equipment is not available. You CAN steal other things such as Potions or crafting materials or buffs.
There is no "fix" to be had, nor is this system going to change.
I am not seeing where there needs to be a fix. Its your own fault if you assume that it only means "equipment" and even so.. you can steal consumable (charges) from the enemy... like a Potion charge for example. You can also steal components, which can be used to craft gear.
I am not sure where "acquiring what others possess" explicitly says that this means weapon and armor.
