Seems specific and odd, considering the fact that you don't own the game. Did the developers say this?
As BungalowBill said: (quoting from this thread)

More specifically, (as 6 Eyes said), if you do plenty of side content (treasure hunting / secret finding / some Patrols for the fun of it), then the average playthrough is about 40 - 60 hours.
Of course, should you have more specific questions, feel free to ask ^_^
I'd say 40 hours sounds about right for going through the main story and maybe a few patrols/extra encounters.
wouldn't any number he said be specific and odd? i would think it would be more odd if he said 37.5 hours
i can tell you i skipped all dialogue (because i had already seen it in previous playthroughs) and i'm right before the final battle and it took me 36 hours.
You can also easily get a NG+-like effect out of replaying the game with Elite enemies turned on - this adds unique modifactions to up the tactical difficulty to almost every encounter in the game. But either way turning up the difficulty will generally make the game longer since fights will be more challenging and it'll rarely be viable to quickly roll over them with just brute force.
