[Spoilers in question] Class oriented.
So I just unlocked Vampire. After looking at it's skills, it seems kinda weak compared to like warmage or just even wizard. Are the badge classes stronger based on time in the story they can be obtained? Like werewolf and vampire are early on while princess/lord and lich are later.

Short answer yes: the badges obtained later are generally “more potent”. That being said, I love Werewolf and Vampire. WW is a great brawler with good mobility and Vampire is a good hybrid class, good mobility, and dual wielding guns can be devastating.

Vampire has two excellent passive abilities, and has fantastic equipment selection. Charm is often game-changing, and Night Embrace gives the class a heavy hitting ability when you have the MP. A popular build with vampire is combining it with Warmage and Dual Wield to cast infused edge from a significant distance.

It's definitely not a weak class.

Well i know what i was planning on doing with vampire is try to make a hybrid mage with it's mobility. Does the bat form increase movement as well or just free movement in any direction?

Bat form just grants “flying” status, not extra movement.

I have a Vampire/Assassin character that's not to bad. Passives are hallowed body and dual wield, reaction is haste. The character is fast and highly mobile, and does good damage. With batform you don't need boots with jump, so you use Plainwalkers.

Squishy though, you need to start with mirage and use your mobility to move in and out of combat. If I had a complaint, it's that blood suck is mostly garbage, even on bleeding opponents. Like just now fighting an opponent with 238 resolve vs my characters 385 mind, I can drain 114 HP. It's even worse considering you have to set up bleed first to even get that much.

The character looks really good with the female outfit you unlock with the first round of arena battles though.
