Permadeath and injury question
Hello, loving the game so far. I'm a big Fire Emblem fan so I set the game to permadeath after getting 5 injuries. So far I'm at the first Temple and I've only got 2 injuries (one for my healer and the other on Reiner, got caught by surprise by a nasty mage and lvl 2 spell).

I'm fine with the injury system because I chose my own rules, but my question is how do I see which stat is affected by the injury ? IIRC there is a 5% penalty, but there's no indicator as far as I know.

When looking at your heroes’ state in the army screen, check for which stats are red. Red indicates a penalty is present on this stat.

Thanks for your quick answer. However, there's no red stat for my healer as you can see on the screen : https://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd.net/ugc/797611191272377908/187A88176F8E4595B259E188FE24FB8CD474046B/

Same for Reiner. Did I get lucky or is it a bug ? My difficulty is indeed Permadeath.

All 4 base stats are affected by injuries. But you're right that it doesn't color them in red right now. I thought it was supposed to, but looking at the code, it's not. I can't remember if we decided on that a while ago for a reason or another, but I agree it would probably be clearer if it did. I'll add a note to look into this.

Thanks!

The tooltip for permanent injuries says that one stat receives a 5% malus for each injury. I never saw this reflected on the injured character in a noticeable way though.

I haven't seen any issues with the system so far. If you suspect there's an issue, would you mind opening a bug report with some details and if possible sending us a save file so we can test things quickly? Thanks!

I'd be happy to help but I have absolutely no idea how to do that.

My first thought is that it got messed up from me switching between "default" injuries and "permadeath" injuries as I tried to figure out which stat was impacted for the character but I never noticed a difference. I'd say if you want to duplicate it, just get an injury on any character with Permadeath mode on and then switch to Default mode and back to Permadeath.

My suggestion for "fixing" this is just to give the negatively affected stat a red number so the player knows which stat is affected.

i assume local save file will be here : "C:\Users\...\Documents\Fell Seal", right?

Yeah....Documents-->Fell Seal-->Saves.

Note that the numbering is funny as in "Slot00" is ingame's Slot 1, "Slot01", is ingame's Slot 2, etc...it's all off by one (because programming starts with 00). As long as you have that down, you should be fine.

Grab the file in question and attach a copy of it to your email to 6 Eyes (with an explanation of course). Address: Contact@6EyesStudio.com

As always, let me know if further assistance is needed.
