A character file before they're supposed to go away?

I just got to Monika's poem on the 2nd cycle saying "Delete Her" and thought of erasing Monika.chr but I didn't do it :(

Anyone tried experimenting?

I tried putting the girls back in after Monika finished her plan, but nothing changed. I suspect there's only one route and ending... UwU

I experimented somewhat.
If you delete any character files in the first part nothing happens and they get recreated.
If you delete monika.chr in the second part you just miss her CG after Yuri dies and can't get the special ending

After you get to the "special ending" with Monika, and talking to her a little bit. Try leaving the game, then deleting her character file. You will get a "small" passage of regret etc, and get to start a "new" (literally) game, anyway that's enough spoilers.

With the latest patch, there's an easter egg. Try deleting Monika's character file before you start a new game(or before you even launch the game for the first time, if it doesn't work).

From what I've seen on the streams, it seems you can delete Monika's character file even while the game's running.

Try deleting Monika at the beginning of the game after Sayori dies. I want to know what happens.

Once you delete her, the game progresses. If you put her file back and start the game before the last act, you will get a message in the sort of "Please don't play with my feelings. I'm not coming back" and deletes itself again.

I got a "Load Me" from Monica at the bottom of a Poem. I thought she was just being a dirty hoe but is the character file actually executable at this scene?

If you delete the charater files of Sayori or monika I think, then new game, then Sayori will freak out like Monika, then crash. Load it up, and you will see Soayori hanging herself b/w
