What is a cg?

Hi I have just completed the normal ending of the game and I want to get the good ending. However all guides mention getting CG's without explaing what a CG is.
So what is a CG.

I'm not exactly sure what "CG" stands for, maybe Character Graphic, but I know that CG's are the more detailed pictures of the charcters when you enter an event with them (Like Yuri reading or Natsuki sitting on the floor with you)

In Dating Sims it's used for those high resolution images of characters that are not in the same, relatively simple, style of the remaining game.

I know it's old post bit just ran acrossed it. CG in this case = cutscene graphic
