Translation errors?

Playing through the demo, I noticed two things in the script in the backstory dump after the first stage. Firstly, Meleda is described in the text as an island kingdom, but the world map doesn't show it as being an island at all. Secondly, Zade gets on the ship and is described as heading south-east, despite that Venecia is to the south-west.
Am I missing something, or is the translation in need of some more proofreading?

Loving the demo aside from that, by the way. Just thought I'd point this out.

The first isn't really a mistranslation, just not fully explained. Vesteria (the landmass shown in all the maps) is an island, thus all the nations shown are island nations, with the empire coming from some distant mainland that has yet to be shown.
