How do you hold down zombie on ground with knee?

I play horde with a very good player who at the end of the horde wave is able to hold down the last zombie with his knee on the zombies neck. He can keep/trap the zombie forever until he lets the zombie up. He is not a cheater. How does he do that, anybody know? It would be a handy skill if you wanted to take a break. Thank you.

I just tried it out in singleplayer and it seems like you just have to walk on top of a zombie that you have thrown to the ground. Just run with shift and press space to tackle, then stand on top of the zombie

Thank you Mar!us, I am a controller player because I am old (over 70) and my hands shake involuntarily, so the controller is the only way I can play. Having said that I do understand what you are saying and I am going to try that with the controller. I will report back. If it works, you will be my hero!. Thank you for responding.
