Crows and Baby Dolls?

Through out my game play i notice birds are everywhere i tend to kill them, and if you look around the area you are in there will be tiny dolls watching you. I have a believe that there is lore to the baby dolls. i have encountered a big one laying in her bed while 4 little ones next to her. its very cute how sometimes they pop out and make noises giving me hints there more to shoot. pls help me understand the details to the environment it kinda makes me sad knowing someone was still alive and waiting for help that never came.

Not sure, if dolls have some kind of lore.
I guess it's more like a sweet little detail, added by the DEVs, to release some preasure from shooting zombies.
Some dolls even do stuff like open a safe.
Crows & Rats. Kinda same, but instead of dolls, those buggers can have a purpose.
You can raise your combo and/or fill up the takedown meter. Not seeing this often in PUBs,
but for me it's super handy. Like in Dead Ahead 1/3 or Zombie Zoo 2/4.

The dolls are to add to the creepiness. They often taunt you. This vibe was is in the Zombie Army Trilogy as well.

Overall I think the detail is exemplary in level design, that many lack, it is definitly inspired from the Resident Evil and brought to a next tier in a good way, too bad there seem to be no in-game 'achievements' to expose it more to player that seek that. So far it is a curiosity and Zombie Army Lore stuff only. :D

I encountered several times, shooting dolls is needed to open a safe. A new doll appeared every time I shoot one. They materialized always somehow in the near.
