They are not very clear on how the infection works. For some reason though if you play a female online and die you do turn into a zombie meaning there are technically female zombies.

You want to hear something really weird though? I read this a few years back and found the article but it was about how a journalist sat down with Vickey Boyce who is the Senior Systems Designer you can look her IMDB and it will confirm that.

This is what was said.

"Rebellion’s fourth entry in the Zombie Army series, Zombie Army 4: Dead War is launching next month. Recently, I was able to sit down with Vicky Boyce, Senior Systems Designer to chat about the game, the development and what players can expect. During my hands-on with the game, I noticed that there were no female enemies in the game. While there are two female playable characters, the lack of female enemies struck me as odd.

So I asked Boyce about their absence.

She told me that “It goes between what you’d like to see personally what’s historically accurate. Though, this is a Nazi Zombie game so how accurate do you want to be?”

She added that she personally can’t see any problems with introducing female Nazi Zombies into Zombie Army 4 and that it’s something worth thinking about. However, if any new zombies or enemies were to be added into the game, it would be a discussion for the leads and the directors.

The fact that there are playable female characters in Zombie Army 4 puts the game ahead of others in recent memory."

There are 3 playable females in the 3rd game, so her recent memory did not include the last game to release? It blows my mind the staff that gets on these games. Imagine not even playing any games in the series then just spouting this. Its absolutely insane.

Welcome to gaming journalism as it is today. If there are no females, LGBT, or racial groups in a game or in a particular part of a game then they will call you out as Sexist, homophobic, transphobic, or racist. Well, that's if they don't get the answer they like to hear. Kingdom Come Deliverance is a very good example.

I have a thought... Is the gender of a fictitious nazi undead soldier really important to you? Are you going to lose sleep over it? Are you going to start worrying about the historical accuracy of a B-grade fun little WW2 horror zombie game? If you're playing this game and the first thought that comes to mind is "Why can't I kill female Wehrmacht or Schutzstaffel zombies?" I feel like you have bigger issues to attend to. Just enjoy the game, and move on with your life.

I wouldn't be surprised if they don't. Nazis are overwhelmingly male. It's possible though since ZA4 has Nazi types besides standard soldiers, so they could expand in the next game.

or almost none ( maybe exceptions like in movies or others) but not on the front or battlefield
so don't except to see some, or maybe as a new buffed ennemy later with blades or psycho powers
