Would love to know the stats on purchases on Epic compared to Steam and the player count at its peak.
Sad thing, the sniper elite mechanics, the slow shambler style of zombie, and the maps all make this game a great iteration of a zombie horde mode game. Hope this isnt the last iteration of this game due to low playerbase.
Didn't Rebellion make enough money already by going exclusive on Epic? Why the same old greedy behavior on Steam? Does Rebellion enjoy looking like a second-rate EA or Activision?
Yea no need for discord, put ingame voicechat back in. For example: I have some friends from another game (Left 4 Dead) We use to talk in game there only (which is not a problem for others as people are cool there, coming from modded/private servers) They now play a lot Zombie Army 4. Only one of them uses teamspeak or alike. Turns out we don't play with the others as no voice comunicating doesn't make sense in coop games. See it how you want, but this kind of scenario is there as well. No need to ignore it saying it's good that there is ingame voice chat. All games which use this feature, have a way to disable/mute this thing or certain people.
A large percentage of Users will go from buying this abuse to the consumer. Myself and the rest of the people I know laugh when they see the prices with the dlcs. It's a shame that a game like this rotten and is forgotten by greed
And by the time they decide to purchase the game when all you sceptics are waiting for it to be heavily discounted, then the game itself will be dead. You are in a lose lose situation .
Keep an eye out for a sale though, if it goes for 50% or more off, it should spike up. otherwise, you might want to find some more dedicated players till then.
More like 80%+ off. The Super Deluxe Edition doesn't even give you all the season passes. It just has season pass one so you won't get the rest of the maps and guns. Even if there was an amazing deal where you got everything for $30-$40 (which isn't that amazing for a year old game) you still have to hope there are other players to co-op with. Too much risk and greed to deal with.
I would rather say the price didn't help. Most Epic exclusives are released on Steam at 50%, often 29.99$.
Personally, I would have bought it day one with such a price but I'm not waiting at least a 50% discount before buying it. I already waited a year, there's no hurry.
