I'm actually ready to summon the last guy but had to quit for the night. Work comes early but I'll do it tomorrow. Can't wait to see what the last guy has in store. So far, the game is short, sweet and awesome. I will be using this game a bunch to show off to my visitors and my demo shows.
That's the good, now the bad. Intro is long. Thank goodness you added a skip function. So really the price is all I can really knock on this game. I think it's a bit pricey for how short it is. Feels more like a 9.99 max so you're not too far off the price. I was going to say that summoning is a bit confusing but not really. I think it's perfect as it adds a bit of thinking to the process and not so straight forward.
I really do like this and I want to applaud you for this fine little VR horror piece.
I see you haven't played DreadOut, lol. When scissors appeared in this game I had PTSD flashbacks to the scissors-wielding boss in that game. That boss was brutal...
which would be greatly appreciated & received by the long term players.
If ported across from the previous Unity version to latest Unity engine, this would pretty much do a majority of the work for you, just ensue the scale is set to 1:1 (although it would probaly make more sense to grab 2018:1 version due immentially for release (the new Unity & unreal engines are very very VR friendly)).
Re-release as remastered versions and ship them for PS4. PC,Oculus,Vive & MR.
Easy money (given the only competition is the fatal frame series which has died a death on the Nintendo exclusivity market).
agreed the idea or port across to Unreal would be a monsterous task, where as just updating to the latest unity would be alot less labour intensive
In regards to publishers have you tcontacted indiegala and similar? It seems nonsensical to miss out on the additional sales (this would only be the case for Sony) as Microsoft's MR can access steam apps, which clearly would not be an issue for you.
but as we stated on our store page, we have only supported Vive and Oculus HMD, at the time we won't have any plan to support any other devices beside above :(
So you may try to refund it if you want.
Hope that clear up your question.
