Its funny you mentioned that because I made a thread not too long ago on the Lord of the Fallen forum specifically about more games with built in randomizers (because I love the one LoTF had). I was already aware of Salt and Sanctuary and its probably my favorite of the sub-genre due to its replay ability, builds, weapon classes, and of course the built in randomizer.
That thread led me to Bloodstained and after I beat that I made this thread (talk about going full circle)
I recently got Deaths Gambit and I'm playing through that now (its decent if not a little jank), and after I will probably go for VIGIL out of all the other recommendations, because it literally looks like a spiritual successor to SnS imo.
BTW I also tried Grime that you recommended, but the ascetics were not to my taste and overall it was too slow for my liking, so I ended up refunding that one ;(
Full circle indeed...
LOL guess we must has similar interest in games.
The Last Faith is a solid game. Somewhat lighter on the rpg and exploration, but the combat is good, story is alright, and the bosses and graphics are great.

...this isn't even close.
Decent game, but not similar.
Timespinner is fun but not nearly as big a game, and has no random mode and no replayability. But its fun.
I have come to this conclusion as well because Bloodstained does everything the older games do, but better imo. Bloodstained has more challenge, in-depth RPG systems, more weapons, more game modes, built in randomizer,....etc. I highly respect the work these devs put into this game and if it is true a sequel is being worked on, it will be one of my most anticipated games of this genre.
The only other game I would put above this game is Salt and Sanctuary, because that game has a TON of replay ability and given how old it is, it holds up really really well even more then modern 2D souls-likes or metroidvainias.
I kind of wish I played the Castlevainia collections before Bloodstained because I would appreciate them more but I tried to go back and they were too easy in comparison and I just ended up getting bored. Maybe if they offered a hardmode at the beginning but I did not feel like playing through the games just to have a challenge.
EDIT: just realized you were talking about TImespinner lol, but my comment still stands.
Not my types of games because you only have a few weapon choices and the RPG systems are pretty light. I see those games as more of a action/adventure platformers then something like Bloodstained or Salt and Sanctuary where you have tons of build options to replay the game with.
I heard they were great games but not the type I'm personally interested in.
