As far as I understand it, it's just more of the horribly outdated retro-stuff I've already ignored on the main game. Definitely not going to pay a single cent for more of THAT.
The actual main game wasn't too bad, as far as I'm concerned. It still needs a LOT of external guides since they keep hiding stuff, but aside from that it was pretty good.
IF you can stomach some grinding, of course.
Haven't played anything from the dlc yet but the main game is definitely worth it imo. Soundtrack is really good, visuals are also nice, the combat is satisfying and it's fun to mix and match so many weapons and spells. The traversal abilities you get are also pretty crazy especially in endgame.
The amount of content is pretty big and there's a lot of variety in the game to keep it interesting.
I guess the 3d look might bother you if you're not a fan of it, I don't mind it.
I agree I prefer 2d/pixel metroidvanias as well but I don't think game looks bad and it's kinda nice to have some variety
Your horrible attempt at something that you dare call a so-called "opinion" is the complete antithesis of good. Also, everything that people that had said that was ever good about you was completely wrong. Finally, the Metacritic scores rate this game at an 84, the last time that I checked, and that is typically considered as a pretty good score for a video game.
I agree, they are, although I should say, this game is (mostly) easier. Or rather, less hardcore.
I wouldn't say it has a particularly large amount of content though. Its fairly short and the bonus modes are basically all
- the same short mode but you play some other dude with a very restrictive, boring moveset
- something you play and beat once and never touch again
But look at how MANY there are!
Anyway, it has some ways to expand the replayability, it's fine.
