Report a translation problem
The one issue I find this new mode is how they tried to transplant the feel and movement of the NES Castlevania games into 2.5D, and for Classic 1 it worked well enough since the levels were linear and short, but in Classic 2 the controls work against you since the layout is much bigger and complex than before with no way to speed-up the process (you don't have a slide but a dash attack which isn't actually much faster than walking, never found the back-dash in Bloodstained to be anywhere as spammable as in SotN so I wouldn't rely on that one either)
simons whip arched for a reason
and the lives system is annoying sure it only costs you money if you run out but still annoying
Plus I find that Attacking followed by a backdash keeps you out of danger in a lot of cases. Even moreso the more you upgrade your whip/bandage. for more range.
