One thing I'd like to leave as feedback here is that it would be very nice if we could customize Miriam's appearance at the start of a game instead of having to wait all the way until Todd. It really should work in the manner wherein once you unlock Todd the first time, you can customize Miriam from the start of the game (at the same time you set up your game type/randomizer settings). Feels really ghetto having to wait for ye ol' barber every single run.
i still wish all the armors had unique appearances, but i respect that it would have been a lot of work for them. also might have ended up with situations where one might not like the appearance of one armor that is superior to the other and end up wearing suboptimal items for pure aesthetic, like Fashion Souls. . Fashionvania(?).
i know i made a joke elsewhere about fanservice years ago and some person tried to troll me over it and a moderator locked that thread before i could take the bait, lol.
for the record, I'm not looking for fanservice, just to see miriam have different outfits to wear.
also would have been cool if they all had customizable colors.
the valkyrie dress is a unique look, but the colors are not customizable.
and then there could have even been a modifier to make one armor "look" like a different one, if you like the stats of one but the looks of another.
i would have given up playing as BLOODLESS in exchange for this suggestion.
again, i respect that it's likely much much easier for them to make bloodless playable than to design a unique look for every armor. but meh, i'm allowed to dream.
One way to solve this would be to assign cosmetics as a separate register to the item slot (i.e. you have the equipment slot, and an equivalent cosmetic slot). That way you don't have to wear suboptimal gear to look good. I mean, isn't the entire point of cosmetics to have the ability to apply a given look to whatever equipment you're wearing?
I'm sure only a small % of us want the Rainbow Pimp Gear Effect.
I actually thought of suggesting this, with the cosmetic slots, but you beat me to it.
Terraria already does this. . .but it took years for them to get to it as well.
I like your idea, Tia, but I think that it should be a thing that can be unlocked once you beat the game, as a part of a reward for Miriam.
I have nearly a thousand hours into this game. I think I'm long past beating it for that particular reward. ;)
didn't realize they meant Jan 2025.
They said between Jan 16th and 18th unless they need to fix issues and resubmit. Clearly this is what happened, seeing as the roadmap isn't out yet.
yeah i'm just joking. i've been following this game for long enough I expected a delay
