Master Carpenter glitch?

I was fighting the Master Carpenter and noticed some weird things. That big saw on the left side of the room does not deal any damage to me; even if I'm not wearing the Aegis Plate. Also, the first time I beat him, he did not drop dead. He was "killed" and I got the shard, but his sprite got stuck in that animation he does when he's building something, and I could not intereact with him. lol

The first one is not a glitch. The saw is not a trap, it's just there for aesthetic. It indeed does no damage.

The second is indeed glitchy but nonetheless is still considered dead. Funny to watch for sure but in the end you got credit for the "kill".
