All the bosses are in the same places they are in Miriam's mode. Just uh... go to those rooms.
Unlike Zangetsu, you do have to explore to find her abilities and progress.
I've noticed too that she's the only character that has a knockback (The charge up regular attack) skill. This leads to some interesting new ways to tackle enemies. .
For instance, the 1st Zangetsu encounter can be easily cheesed with the knockback attack. (It guard blocks too)
Bathin can also get canceled out of his reflection laser attack if you hit him before he unleashes it.
There may some more interesting tricks to pull off with it.
BTW, if anyone's wondering the final movement upgrade (high jump) is in Hidden Desert. And you also unlock a healing ability in Secret Sorcery Lab.
Problem is, she starts on her boss room with only her umbrella-ella-ella and a slide skill you unlock right there, so in that sense she's worse than Zangetsu.
As for her growing stronger, you can find items that increase her stats (so far I've not found anything that increases her base damage) and of course, the skills; exploring is actually rewarding but as far as I've seen, you can't 100% the map (unless she gets some sort of dimension shift later on).
I've been enjoying this mode so far and I'd like to know how to change her color as in the promo video (I made it to the barber and he's not there). Also, so far I've only beaten Craftwork (and he gave me no skill, I got an increased CON "item" and the charged attack skill before his boss room), and I'm currently attempting (and failing) the galleon boss; as for story... I don't really care, I like to think bloodless got tired of being evil or just wanted to rule the world and decided to beat the ♥♥♥♥ out of the other monsters, take whatever version you prefer.
Oh and you can change her color by simply changing the blood color in the game options, she's all blood, haha.
Well ♥♥♥♥... I was expecting to keep blood red and just change her outfit, but I guess that's as good a reason to use that option which I never even considered.
Also, they promised to add paid cosmetics for Myriam, and I hope they add some for Bloodless as well (and maybe a "spy" outfit for Zangetsu).
Blood Steal is pretty OP all in all, useful even during boss fights.
It's a Castlevania-style gameplay thing. Alucard couldn't go in water either without being hurt
Strength boost increases base damage, Constitution boost increases physical defense, Intelligence boost increases magic damage and Mind boost increases magic defense.
Think about it this way:
Her outfit is blood.
Her weapons are blood.
Her strength is blood.
Everything about her is blood.
Guess what gets washed away as soon as she steps into water?
Same thing for the "vampires can't enter a house unless someone invited them" or "vampires are weak against garlic"
it literally has never been about THE WATER HARMING THEM.
if that was the case, holy water would never be a staple in vampire lore.
you speak complete madness.
also--- that wasn't vampires, it was the headless horseman.
if you're pulling vampire lore from Bloodrayne movies, lemme tell ya somehting - theyre not even accurate to the games.
