Where do you get the Aegis Plate Armor?

I'm at the stage of passing All those spikes, but I need to get the Aegis Plate Armor.... Where can I find it? Does Grandma have it? please let it be No....

Tower of Twin Dragons. In the place where you fought the boss. Enter from the bottom left room then invert and drop all the way down (or up in this case). If done right you'll see spikes next to you as well as a treasure chest that leads to this armor.

If you enter from the top left you'll find another armor that adds to your luck stat.

Heh, I played through twice and didn't find it either time. I just brute-forced my way past the spikes.

Obviously I knew I was missing something, but I couldn't find it for the life of me. This game has a few poorly signaled progression points, and this is definitely one of them.
