There are some food types that increase your mana regeneration.

You can also find a ring that increases the mana you get back from roses.

It's possible there are some. I haven't found any yet. The only way to increase your regeneration I've seen so far is through food.

If you eat all the food it goes up to 8mp/sec

passed for two, gave nothing

I don't think it's a quest, or even qualifies as a quest. Something happens when you get 100% of "something" and then the item just appears on the floor.

Eat all the food. Maybe one of the books in the library. And max Word of Wisdom.

There's a necklace that also reduces the amount of mana you use and at the end of the game. you can also get an accessory that gives infinite mana, but the game is pretty much over by then and it's only goof for farming and NG+

To increase mana regeneration speed naturally (waiting) is eating food, more specifically, drinks.

The items that work around mana are:
-Rose ring: Increases the amount of mana regained when picking roses
-Warlock's necklace: Reduces the amount of mana used, although not by much
And lastly:
-Gebel's Glasses: No mana is consumed when wearing them. Handed by Johannes when you get all the shards if I'm not mistaken

I almost finished this quest, there was an eight-bit boss who still couldn’t get a splinter from

Juices and drinks gives you the mana regenaration bonuses, each increasing 1 per second. Most of the Harpy-type monsters drop fruits required to make juices. You might have to get recipe from somewhere though.
