I couldn't agree more, Bloodless was one of the best boss fights in Ritual of the Night. She really needs her own mode so that her playstyle can be utilized to the fullest. Or her own game like I've been suggesting, which may not be made by the developers. Though I'm fine with that as long as she gets more development and is made playable beyond Boss Revenge. She's earned a lot of attention for being a spectacular boss and deserves the very best the developers can give her.

I hope not... also, I love how they announced boss revenge with bloodless on front; this means there's a good chance they will eventually add her as playable character after third playable character (cause I honestly doubt she is the third one), or maybe make a solo game for her.
There has been a lot of talk on these threads about Bloodless, so it's just as possible she'd been selected for that image because we were all looking forward to her inclusion in Boss Revenge. It would be great if the developers could give Bloodless her own mode since she is the one boss in the game I know of with the strongest argument in favor of it. And I'm glad you share my opinion that Bloodless could be the star protagonist of her own game if the developers make it a reality. Though I'm not sure if they will or not; it's more likely they will simply make Bloodless playable in her own mode. But even if they don't I'm satisfied with her being in Boss Revenge by itself just as I am satisfied with the base game.
Also, Zangetsu sucks ass when you play him, and the version you fight on boss revenge makes me hate Zangetsu mode even more (again, I really hate how you can't strenghten zangetsu).
I actually like the slight delay on Blood Steal, since it's from the blood actually flying to you, which lets you do things like slightly overcharge and then throw an umbrella and get the mana back for it instantly.
I mean the delay between holding right thumbstick and her saying "blood steal", which is effectively when the skill starts.
I agree that there is a delay between activating Blood Steal and the ability functioning. Bloodless performs the animation of herself getting ready to use it before starting to absorb the blood, and she stands still while doing it. This is one of the reasons why I prefer to not use it in battle against the three bosses because this animation leaves her vulnerable to attacks when the bosses are closing in to strike. While it's a good animation and I do like it, I believe players should be given the option of turning off this animation and allowing them to move so that they can recharge mana on the go or the animation should have invincibility frames to keep them safe while using it. This might not be the delay you were talking about, Melchiah, but I think it may be close enough.
And again, I'm not advocating for removing this animation entirely, just the option to turn it on and off at will since it could help improve the rate of survival against bosses like Dominique, Miriam, and Zangetsu. It can be turned back on when the players feel safe enough to allow the animation to play. If Bloodless receives her own mode or her own game, this can be done in rooms devoid of enemies or when enemies are not attacking her.
Those are good ideas on the third playable character's identity. Though I don't think it would be a character from Curse of the Moon II because this game is slated to come out on July 10th, 2020. The third playable character is currently scheduled to release sometime during the fourth quarter of this year, so that would be too late to bring one of the characters from Curse of the Moon II to Ritual of the Night. While Dominique is attributed to that same reason and the developers said it was not going to be her, it's possible they might be saying that to throw us off thinking it is her so that it can be a surprise if she's revealed to be the third playable character. Which won't surprise me because I'm calling that out now as a possibility. There has also been some speculation that the third playable character is related to one of the two crossover events, perhaps the one which will release in that same quarter. Whatever the case, I am interested in who this character will be.
Other than that, there's a chance they say "lol jk, it's Dominique"; or a most likely outcome, the third character is just another Richter Mode and it's made just to promote another indie.
As for said collab, your guess is as good as mine; if anything I guess it's another metroidvania either new or already out there, which leaves us with way too much options.
Anyway sad were not gonna get Dominique as a playable character.
Just make it Dominique. I mean, they came up with a non-corrupted moveset for her for boss revenge mode... (I'd much rather get Johannes, Alfred, or OD, though.)
...or it could be the standards for the outfits that YOU want to see, rather than actually having an alternate outfit that is actually fitting into the game, you know, something that the fans actually want, but, hey, please conveniently ignore those harsh truths. Now, if you want to see women in those sorts of things, then there are plenty of other games that have those things in them, as well as lots of other shady and questionable websites. Now, with that being said, Shantae, surprisingly, has a Ninja form as one of her alternate outfits in one of her games (Shantae: Half-Genie Hero, if I do recall correctly). Moreover, to be honest, Zangetsu should have the Ninja outfit instead of Miriam because a. it would be easier to simply give him one, given his in-game model, b. the Ninja/Assassin/Harrier enemy models literally are around his size, as well as build, c. it would be a nice prize for him to have if he beats Harrier in the race, and d. I already made an argument for he, as well as Bloodless, and maybe Aurora, as well as others, to get them as well in the game. Besides, if Miriam literally has an alternate outfit as a Lili, a.k.a., the hybrid Bunny Girl/Succubus enemy, that is in the game, then it is not that difficult to give Zangetsu a Ninja based outfit as well, plus, from a programming sense, and from a common sense perspective, it simply is the best option for a Ninja outfit in the game.
