Does Zangetsu have any substitute for the Reflector Ray?

Playing as Zengetsu, I'm not sure how to access areas where you would normally use the Reflector Ray as Miriam. Any ideas?

In previous Igavanias, bonus characters simply couldn't access a few things. I'm assuming this is similar.

Yeah, I kind of figure that might be the case here, but wanted to check to see if anyone has found something, maybe a hidden move. I also can't find a way to bypass the Iron Maiden in the Garden of Silence. Again, possibly inaccessible, but I'm wondering about that one too...

For the iron maiden, lure a frog into it.

As for things that require the Reflector Ray, inverting, or Phase Shift; they're either unreachable, or have gates like the ones in the Oriental Alchemy Lab to get passed them.

I'd say that the areas that require those tools will simply be changed. ie all the spikes removed or what not. Unlike what a lot of ppl seem to think they probably didn't just cut and paste the character in and call it a day.

Tried on Iron maiden. Not work. Iron Maiden still trap Zangetsu any way.

For the iron maiden you'll have to lure an enemy into it to make it close up and be pushable.
Nothing behind it though, besides map tiles to fill in.

You can fill the map 100%. There is 1 or 2 annoying spots where you have to go allllll the way around. I think there's only 1 HP Up you just can't get in the library (reflector ray required).
