That sounds good, thanks! :)
...What i'm saying is that you shouldn't set price-time value based on how long does it take to finish a game in one playthrough, but rather on the potential hours of entertainment it will give you. If the game is good then the price tag should be worth it.
Though we still don't know if the game is actually worth it or not, people doesn't seem to be impressed so far.
As I said, I know that the length isn't important, but I don't wanna have an awesome game that ends way too quickly.
And yeah, I also love short games (around 2-4 hours) that are so good that they are replayable over and over again.
I still love a quick round "Alex Kidd" or "Commander Keen".
But a Metroidvania has a different feel to it and these aren't games I throw in for a quick round.
Sure, "Symphony Of The Night" is awesome, but I've beaten it only 2 times (maybe it's time to give it another shot).
It's one of these games that exchanges skill-based action and/or plattforming with grind and RPG mechanics.
I love these mechanics, but they hinder the replay-value quite a bit.
Unlike a game which is 100% skill based and gets you killed if you don't pay attention.
That's why I like these games to be long.
Not sure what Chaos mode is though, haven't checked yet, but i hope it's a randomizer mode like those hacks of old games, AKA, instead of changing the whole map and everything, they randomize items and abilities and that would alter the way you play the game while still giving a familiar place to explore.
Yeah... I must confess, I don't follow this game... at all.
I'm still hyped about it like about a new "Monster Hunter", since Metroidvania is one of my favourite genres.
And a game that's more like Castlevania metroidvanias and not like one of the many indie metroidvanias is a godsend.
But I don't wanna follow something and hype me up all day every day about the game and just get/got excited, when a date drops.
So... that outta the way... thanks for the information!
Don't know what a "Chaos Mode" could be except something challenging.
Bonus chars are always nice, even if they get the short end of the stick, it's nice to play around with them.
Co-op... well... I'm really curious how it works and if it's something for the main game or just for a bonus mode (the mentioned Bossrush).
And in terms of a bossrush, I'm not really a fan of such a mode, no matter the game, but it's nice to have it.
Well, and the Roguelike-Mode sounds really interesting, since I love roguelikes, and was neat that "Bloodborne" had optional procedural generated dungeons.
So yeah... I'm ready to throw my money, and if it does have a potent and interesting coop mode, I will throw this money at my PS4 for reason.
