To Those Wondering if Susie's Questline is Worth it...It totally is

I'm 100% going to do a gunner playthrough on NG+ once I get the parts needed to make the best gun (the one I have is only 2nd best).

So, as I approach the idea of a guns only playthrough, I knew my only obstacle would be the fact that guns only shoot straight ahead, so I don't have the vertical range that my great sword would have.

Then I crafted Adrasteia, the highest grade gun (at least that you can craft, dunno if there's a better one I can find somewhere). And, well, it's Darkseid's Omega Beams...

The only problem I have with that gun is it doesn't track small enemies well like bats. Only a minor annoyance as they don't really deal any damage. Other than that, yea hat + laser gun is great.

It also may not go after the enemy you want it to. I've had it shoot at enemies that were off screen, and thus unable to actually be hit by the gun. This is while there are enemies directly in front of me.

One downside I found for the gun is it has a more limited range than other guns, but it's still a lot longer than melee weapons so stands out with other guns in that department. And as Sergeant_Braken said above me, it does have a mind of its own. If you're standing underneath a floating enemy like a ghost or demon, it won't track toward it. A simple backstep clears that right up though.

that tracking gun also goes through terrian by the way. i think i prefer the 32-bit gun more just cause the raw damage boost but that tracking one is pretty great.

Make sure to unlock the down, forward attack gun technique and master it so that you can use it with all guns. It makes a HUGE difference when using one.
And if you equip the glasses that Gebel (was that his name? I'm sleepy and it eludes me right now) leaves you have unlimited mp to go with your unlimited ammo, so the gun technique can fire forever. Have fun with those diamond bullets :)
