Rhava Bural - A weapon to surpass Metal Gear
I finished the game with this weapon only.
And I didn't even care about spells. The only spell that I bring with me and seems to work really well with Rhava Bural is the Bloodfield (As I remember she shouts its name) which consumes blood on the ground.
And the shooting spell I use is Bone Toss (One of the very first spell) =]]. Because this one shoot thru terrains :v I can hit enemies where they can't hit me.
And Blue Shards spells ... I put whatever I need to help me travel, not even use it in combat.

Just normal attack every bosses.
About Dodge button :(
I never know it exists ... thanks to Rhava Bural, I dodge everything manually without the fear of recover frames at the end of "Q" dodge :v

you can actually upgrade it to an even better weapon when you get the Legendary Equipment, which is oddly around 50% in-game.

well people are saying the Rhava Bural is broken in the sense that it has next to no recovery window when used so you can spam it super fast, or something along those lines

It reminded me of the Valmanway from Dawn of Sorrow and I've also been using the upgraded version. Although the main reason I used it was to find hidden walls before getting the eye shard.

If you finished the game with Rhava Bural, you just did yourself a disservice... because you missed the upgrade to Rhava Velar, which is literally Crissaegrim with a shorter reach.

Yes, because it has no animation at all !

I see it but I can't find the required materials and I only have 2 Rhava, it requires 4 :(

Agree on hidden wall part =]] Even getting the eye shard I don't use it at all because it wasted 1 slot of booting damage for Rhava.

rhava bural and welcome company are broken equipment, i never touch them, hope next patch will balance, it makes the game extreamely boring

i agree with this, i got this weapon super early on, and i dont see any reason to switch away from it.

I switched to the invisible blade+attack speed shard.

I didn't enjoy the short reach and consatntly smashing the attack button using the Rhava.

Honestly, its not that great

the only plus side is if your using double pickpocket and want to farm a bit faster

low range, low damage, its not thattttt fast when compared to anything you get mid to late game for dps

welcome company is useful mostly for detecting secret walls, it adds a chunk of damage when maxed, but man i've found about 10 much better spells...

truth is pretty much anything you do in this game makes you stupid op pretty easy (which I love), maxing passives is an explosive growth

People saying this weapon is like Crissaegrim are wrong tho.. It's like a much weaker version of it that was in SotN also. Crissaegrim didn't require so much spamming, and would hit something several times per swing, and went through most shielding. My question is-- is there an equivalent of the Ring of Varda in this game?

Rhava Bural is okay. It's a good weapon but I'm not a fan of its range. If you use animation cancels you can do more damage with plenty of weapons and skills IMO.

Morgenstern has worked well for me with its multiple damage types, and whip specials are really powerful as well. There's also Flamberge and that 1h viking sword (I forget the name right now).

There's also more interesting options that may not be as good by default but are better with skills like katana counters (which can hit multiple enemies and seem good against bosses)

It is just as broken as every version of Valmanway / Crissaegrim in all of the Igarashi Castlevanias. There is nothing more to say. This weapon is a staple of the series.

Rhava Bural is a good weapon but it looses its effectiveness when you reach like level 30 or so or if you have the cash to purchase or found an 8bit coin to craft one of those weapons. Not sure on how powerful the legendary version is as far as damage goes.

Wait til you guys complete all the food quest and then get the hat that makes ammo infinite and simply spam diamond bullets on a luck build.
Rapid fire crits like 1k+ on normal mobs. Only problem is that it's terrible with flying enemies. Rhava Bural is not the most broken weapon.
